World Expo is a world wide event where various countries present themselves through large and well designed constructions, known as pavilions. It is originated in UK in 1851 and Crystal Palace is built for this occasion. At the beginning, this event is used for each country to exhibit their latest achievements in industries, which has seen deep influence from the industrial revolution. For example, Eiffel Tower in Paris is the pavilion once presented at the World Expo. in Paris in 1889. The event offers a friendly and informal platform for all countries to communicate culture and develop business. World Expo. 2010, hold in Shanghai, is the largest in scale to date.

Shopping
Shopping is enjoyment! Today is meant to be my shopping day. Did not intend to go shopping first. After going to my hairdresser and explaining to her well why I have not seen her for ages, cannot resist putting my feet into those shops. Temptation! Oasis, my favorite! I found the jean which is exactly the one I just retired, with 5 pounds more than the price of my old one. A lot of nice stuff today! Hamleys, for one friend's kid! Then, my crab meal! Eating crab is just art!

Gordon Brown's resignation
Well, this is not fresh news any more! David Cameron, the youngest Prime Minister in UK in 198 years! He is still 43 now, 5 months before his next birthday. The first coalition government! From 6th May to now, at least! After several rolling coasters, the track is back to viaducts. Let us hope it will soon be on the land! Vote one and get one free, not bad deal in the end!

London Marathon
This is my Microsoft week, first going to MS Conference and then having face to face talk with MS people. When I got out of the conference centre, walking on the road with Sun, I am feeling like being in another world. At the weekend, another London Marathon.
